Over the summer months, I was honoured to be invited to photograph the stunning Georgian Manor House of Stanwick Hall. Nestled in the picturesque East Northamptonshire countryside, this elegant property is the cherished home of a family who have devoted nearly 18 years to lovingly and meticulously restoring the Grade II listed house. The Manor boasts seven beautifully appointed bedrooms, five luxurious bathrooms, five spacious reception rooms, a gym, a large and welcoming kitchen, a wine cellar, and a serene outdoor heated swimming pool.

Adjacent to the main house lies ‘Grooms Cottage,’ a charming self-contained annex with two en-suite double bedrooms, a cozy sitting room, a light-filled conservatory overlooking the countryside, a well-equipped kitchen, and a delightful dining room.

Given the extensive size of the property and the intricate details of its interiors, I made it a priority to collaborate closely with the family to identify the key areas to highlight. This planning ensured my time onsite was used effectively, capturing the unique character and grandeur of the estate. The photographs were taken over a warm and sunny summer’s day, with clear blue skies providing an ideal backdrop to bring out the property’s charm and warmth.

In addition to the summer shoot, I was invited back on a crisp November evening to capture the house as it was bathed in the golden hues of a setting sun. This magical moment added a touch of romance and drama to the collection of images, showcasing the estate in its full glory.

These photographs will play a vital role in showcasing the property to discerning clients seeking a luxurious country retreat, a venue for grand events, particularly during the high-profile F1 season or a unique filming location. It was a privilege to contribute to highlighting the beauty and history of such a remarkable home.
